Despite being involved in a car accident in 2021 which left her disabled, she has continued to soar to greater heights in the Zimbabwe cake industry. At one point, she had to work whilst using a chair And using only one hand but this did not deter her from baking and decorating not only one tier birthday cakes but 10 tier wedding cakes.

Of late, social media has been awash with memes and posts chronicling the struggles of small businesses who aren’t getting any support from their immediate families and friends. But the question is, are our friends and family members obligated to patronize our businesses? Should we expect them to buy our products? Are we entitled to their spending preferences?
